Space is limited!
Space is limited for Camp Wilderness. Priority will be given to Grace families.  Remaining spots will be given on a case-by-case basis.

Overnight Option
The overnight stay has become an important part of Camp Wilderness. The children enjoy outdoor experiences, cooking meals over fires, canoeing, campfire skits, songs, and s’mores. The leaders enjoy getting the kids up at sunrise for the Friday morning sunrise service. The bus will bring “overnighters” back to the church house in time for closing assembly on Friday and 12:10 dismissal. Kids need to come equipped on Thursday with bedding, and wearing appropriate outdoor clothing (hats, long pants, long socks, walking shoes, no flip-flop sandals), ready for the elements. A full packing list will be sent later. In the event of severe weather we will have a lock-in at Grace. In case of rain…we camp!

Not interested in camping overnight?
Parents will pick their children up at Grace on Thursday around 2:30pm. On Friday, staff will lead non-overnighters in clean up and games at Grace until the overnighters arrive back from Camp Wilderness.

Scheduling Conflicts?
We encourage families to prioritize children’s activities and if at all possible to rearrange conflicting schedules. Because of safety and accountability demands, it advanced communication and planning is needed to coordinate picking up and dropping off at Camp Wilderness. Questions? Call Jenny Boettcher or email Jenny Boettcher if you have conflicts during the week.
