Grace is working to support one another during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will regularly update you on ways that we are serving and how you can get involved.
But First - A Quiet Heart
Are you being overwhelmed with ideas, information, or resources? Trust me, the last thing I want to do is add to all the noise. But I did record a few thoughts to remind us of our foremost need in these anxious days--a quiet heart at rest with our Father. So, take a listen and let not your hearts be troubled.
Emergency Food Pantry Collection
We are coordinating two upcoming drop-offs for you to bring your donated food items to the church. Drop-offs will be this Saturday, 3/28, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, and Monday, 3/30, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. We will be using the southern entrance (take the sidewalk that goes along the south side of the building). Expect to place your bagged items onto a cart just outside the south doors and we will take it from there. Food will be kept in the bags and quarantined prior to distribution. If you have questions, please call/text Kari Heidi at (785) 840-5782.
We still need food items. If you are at the store and any items listed here are available, please consider picking up a few extras for this purpose. Here is a pdf version.
High Risk? Shut-In? Need Help?
We have a long list of people who are able to support those who cannot get out into the community and do not have local family to help. If you need help picking up groceries, medications, or completing other errands (or know someone who does), then please email Julie Lesslie or call/text at (785) 550-0035.
If you would like to be added to the list of those willing to help out in this way, please email Dea Burmingham or call/text at (785) 608-4333.
Community Resource List
We want to keep you up-to-date on various resources available in our community. If you know of any organization, group, or individual(s) providing help, support, or other resources, please contact Amy Ballinger.
