Dave Upchurch

Dave Upchurch joined our staff in June, 2007 as part-time Director of Care & Compassion Ministries.  He served twenty-two years in the military, four years as a Navy Supply Corps Officer and eighteen as an Army Reserve Chaplain.  He also taught junior high and high school here in Kansas for twenty-five years.  He is a 1975 Master of Divinity graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Kansas University awarded him a B.A. in 1968.  He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 1981.  Dave has one son, Nate.  Nate and his wife Laci live in Lenexa.
