Prayer Groups

A neighborhood prayer group is just that --- a group of women from a
neighborhood or area of town who meet regularly for prayer. It meets in a home, so it’s close, and easy to get to, and the group is made up of women you may already know who live nearby.

What will it look like:

It will, obviously, focus on prayer. We will spend time praising God for who He is, praying for our own personal holiness, and coming before God for the needs in our homes and in our church. Detailed prayer requests are e-mailed regularly through the Grace EPC prayer updates.  The prayer time will last about one hour, and then we can visit with one another after praying.

Where:
In the home of the hostess.

When:
It can be at whatever time is best for the participants --- early morning before work (the 6am early-bird hour), mid-morning after the kids get to school, during the afternoon, or in the early evening (say, 7pm).

Why:
Because God is worthy ---- to whom else can we go?  And of course, we need each other for encouragement in this discipline.

Please contact Katharine Ritter, Director of Women's Ministries, if you are interested in joining a neighborhood prayer group.
